“disproportionately affecting Latino and African American voters, who tend to live in urban areas with long ballots that require more time to fill out.”

Once again democrats blatantly expose their racism and declare blacks and Hispanics are not very smart.

I never see lines at polling places. And... dont local leaders decide where and how many polling places there are? and if so ... the democrats control the large cities, so what exactly is the issue?

And the democrats in Utah want to do away with straight-ticket voting (for obvious reasons).

Democrats run Houston and they are blaming Republicans for the lines at democrat primary polling centers.

As a Texan with George P Bush being Land Commissioner I never get to vote straight Republican.

Yup. I was the same way with "One Tough Grandma" Carole Keeton Rylander Obregon Your-Name-Goes-Here McClellan, former Austin mayor and pro-abort. There was also a pro-abort who worked her way up to State Treasurer as a Republican and I refused to vote for her either.

...The lawsuit was the fourth filed by Texas Democrats in recent months to challenge voting-related laws and rules in the state. The other three are:

- A January lawsuit seeks to block a state rule that bans electronic signatures on voter registration forms, leading to the rejection of more than 2,400 applications days before the registration deadline for the 2018 midterm elections.

Why were they getting electronic signatures to begin with? They are easy to misrepresent?

- A challenge filed in November seeks to overturn a longtime state law requiring that candidates belonging to the governor’s political party be listed first on general election ballots. Democrats say the law gives an “unfair, arbitrary and artificial advantage” to Republicans, the party of Gov. Greg Abbott, in every contested national, state and local race on the ballot.

Somebody needs to go first. Not our fault your loser party hasn't won a governorship since Ann Richards.

- An October lawsuit seeks to overturn a GOP-backed state law that banned mobile voting sites during early voting periods. The law requires polling locations to be open on every day of early voting.

Mobile voting is one of the ways Democrats get those "missing" ballot boxes that mysteriously reappear when the Republican is a few hundred votes ahead and the missing ballot box favors Democrats by 100-1. I don't blame Republicans for passing this.

Same here. There is always someone I want to vote against.
