That’s because those are all ethyl alcohol, and all the ones they recommended are somewhat stronger.

Thanks. I'll put some lemon juice into my bleach solution.

My son works out at the gym a lot and he’s working at Starbucks while he is in school. Talk about a double whammy! All those thousands of hands touching the gym equipment and all those thousands of hands touching cash and surfaces in Starbucks. I’ve stressed the importance of hand-washing when leaving those places and washing when he gets home, but he’s got a thick skull.

What Kills Coronavirus

The people who put that site together depend on a lot of EPA data. They suggest:

A better choice for killing a life-threatening, emerging strain of Human Coronavirus like Covid-19, is to use EPA registered products that became registered to kill the deadly Human Coronaviruses: SARS in 2002 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and MERS in 2012 (Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome).

A product that is capable of killing the deadly SARS will say both:

If it is capable of killing MERS, is should read: It will either say it on the label (if we’re lucky) or it will be listed on the company website or the EPA website if you enter the product’s EPA Registration Number.

Example of a product that kills SARS related Coronavirus – Hard to Find Lysol Citrus Scent Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaner II – (must include the II on the end)

So What Should We Look For When Trying to Kill a New Deadly Coronavirus?

“Antibacterial” is not the phrase we’re looking for. We want “virucidals” or “anti-viral” kill claims. Then, we should look for SARS and MERS.

That title goes to Lord Quaalude

Wonder if they work on corona virus

Good excuse as any to bring that wonder drug back ...

It should be first course of action for menopausal women who’ve lost that itch

Quaaludes just made girls crave sex

What a drug

Sorry those under 55 missed it

That is only 50% alcohol. They cut the proof with lots of water.

I do that too to get it down to 100 proof
