Well, let me try to put a positive spin on that headline:
Say you are a Trump hater, and you see that headline. So you figure you’ll get an inside scoop about what a monster Trump is, from his chief of staff who just got banished to some remote outpost in Northern Ireland.
So you read the article hoping to find more examples of how Trump is a monster, a terrible father and his chief of staff hates his guts. But instead, you find out Mulvaney didn’t get kicked to the curb - Northern Ireland is where he was begging to go, and Trump gave him his wish. Moreover, he really admires the President, thinks he’s a great and loving father, and has nothing but good things to say.
So it’s a bait-and-switch headline that tricks Trump haters into learning what a great guy President Trump is.
How’s that?

Someone on this thread tried to explain it away by suggesting that Bedard wrote the story and SOMEONE ELSE wrote the title.
I don't know how that works these days, so all I know is that it is one more reason this country is dying rapidly.

And on a slightly different subject ..... I'm sick of THE STARTLED, BRISTLING, INDIGNANY SURPRISE that our politicians and commentators are spewing these days ....... concerning the fact that the Chinese PRODUCE many of the things that WE NEED FOR SURVIVAL, including antibiotics and other medical items.
It's not like these lowlife politicians and commentators didn't know what the Chinese were doing for at least the past couple of decades!
