One plan kicked around is to isolate the elderly, of which I am one, for a short period of time. Let everyone else be free, open all businesses, begin living life. We will lose our country forever if we allow DS to take away our freedoms. The DS won’t suffer; they’ll be the royal class.

The Extreme State Lockdowns
I understand why he may want to do this before things get out of hand and to show “strong” leadership, but it really doesn’t make sense. There are a huge number of counties in the US that still have zero or near zero cases; it isn’t really justified to do a full quarantine of them. The governors of states where things are actually getting out of hand are already instituting quarantines. New York alone is responsible for almost half the cases in the US!
He needs to just quarantine the cities. As in don’t let anyone in or out of the cities. They are cesspools of leftist propaganda anyway.

The only place this country is going from 25%-30% unemployment is AOC style socialism. Unemployment was 25% during the Great Depression. Now with so much of our economy based on the service industry it could go even higher than that.
