this was unnecessary of them, as USA doctors already could prescribe these meds for any condition the docs felt could benefit from them
EXCEPT for the a-hole governors of Michigan and Nevada trying to block doctors (and pharmacists)....
so now the governors can’t get away with that anymore (a court case would have stopped them, but this is so much faster, good move fed govt!)
those are 2 governors that need to be removed ASAP, next election if not recalls?

Rather than clamoring for more respirators and money, these pontificating governors should focus their efforts on assuring that pharmacies actually have hydroxychloroquine and Zithromax on hand when they are prescribed by a physician. Get off TV and get to work.

I think Freepers need to appreciate the good news here. Like everyone else, I am frustrated that this did not happen 2 weeks ago, but it seems like the apparat has moved much faster than usual on this, maybe as fast as we could realistically hope. And if you look at the trend in news coverage, it is becoming more favorable. Ed “poppin fresh” Morrissey is no Trump acolyte, but his tone is refreshingly fair. If we look at the trend, it is moving our way, and in the end Trump will get the credit for making this work.

I have a good friend and Emergency room physician who has been prescribing HCQ/Z-Pac/Zinc for 2.5 weeks and couldn’t care less what the FDA has to say about it all.

I hope it also helps in significant reduction in mortality (especially for the very ill ), but this widespread usage still needs to prove that.
