More voters say the Trump administration isn’t doing enough to combat the coronavirus outbreak, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll.

The survey, conducted immediately before President Donald Trump announced a 30-day extension of his physical and social distancing guidelines “to slow the spread” of Covid-19, shows 47 percent of voters feel the administration isn’t doing enough in response to the outbreak, greater than the 40 percent who feel the administration is doing the right amount.

Two weeks ago, 43 percent said the administration wasn’t doing enough in the days following the initial measures deployed to reduce the impacts of the virus, while 39 percent said it was doing the right amount.

Not that I put much stock in polls, but IMHO Trump is literally "Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't".

That’s why the networks stopped showing his pressers, they were making him too popular.

The “polls” say whatever they want them to say.

This is so predictable. Whatever position the media needs supported, you can count on a poll being conjured from nowhere showing support for their position.

DJT needs an XO to have ABC show Jeopardy earlier in the day so it can be recorded.

I don’t think it helps that the longer this goes on the more pissed off people get. I’m still surprised people for the most part are behaving themselves. That’s the most amazing part of all of this.

so the negative grew by 4% and the positive grew by 1%....and his bounce “fizzled”? makes sense.

For what it is worth, people are not happy with him extending the lockdown another two weeks, then another two weeks, then another two weeks.... at some point people will say “enough.”

Sick, demented bass turds. The desire to cut President Trump down a notch is more important than saving lives.

The only thing that matters is make sure we VOTE. I predict the media will do the same damn thing this year as they did four years ago, and show the president to be behind his Democrat opponent all the way to Election Day. I know many of us here know that, but there are a few nervous types among us who take every poll result as gospel. Other than checking the posts here I’ve turned off all TV news and only listen sporadically to Rush or Mark Levin.

xpidGender PID/Gender: Dem Men 317 16%
PID/Gender: Dem Women 453 23%
PID/Gender: Ind Men 289 14%
PID/Gender: Ind Women 287 14%
PID/Gender: Rep Men 329 16%
PID/Gender: Rep Women 323 16%

39% Democrat, 32% Republican. 7% giveaway to the Democrats right off the rip.

Then, add the fact that easily 65% of Indies are really democrats. that's 15% of 30% for a lead. Another 4.5% givaway.

Grand total, 11.5% Democrat overrepresentation.

Typical crap poll.

We all know that. Pelosi’s behavior during this whole crisis has been atrocious, but this is all the Democrats do and know. Politics is everything because all they desire is power and control over the American people, and they’re not going to let a damn national crisis stand in their way!
