Howdy, radu! Did ya have another pretty day today. It was still cold here. 46 right now. It’s “supposed” to reach 75 tomorrow. I’m wearing pants to church just in case it doesn’t. A skirt is just to “breezy” for a chilly morning. LOL!

Howdy, LUV.

Yes, it was a gorgeous day. I was all set to get outside for a while to weed flower beds until I stepped out the door. Stepped right back inside immediately.
Chicken poop stench! They showed up this morning to spread it on the fields. I thought they’d wait a little while since they just sprayed the weeds yesterday but no such luck. Dang it!!

Weird that it’s so cold down in your neck o’ da woods and it’s so warm here.

EEUUWW!! What a shocker when you walked outside. Not fun. How long does it take to dissipate?

It is weird, huh. I imagine it’s headed your way, though. The weather report says we have a chance of rain tonight, but I’d be shocked if it did. Happy, but shocked. LOL!

Howdy, Kathy.

Did you give yourself a break and ignore homework for a day?

Yeah, it was a shock. LOL! I guess they wanted to spread it while they had a chance but doggone the timing.
A decent soaking rain will do wonders to kill the stench but that’s not in sight for a few days at this point. The system that was supposed to give us rain today has stalled.

No cold temps for us the next week. 70s until next weekend when we’ll cool down into the 60s. I almost turned the AC on today but held off. I have a feeling it’ll be on tomorrow though. It’s 77 degrees in here at the moment and is a bit uncomfortable.

I did homework most of the morning, but I got a couple jobs done that I won’t have to worry about Monday. It’s not stressful at all as I can come and go as I please. LOL!

Hope it doesn’t start getting too warm too quickly like it did here. Because sure as shootin’, you’ll get an Easter cold front and you won’t be used to it. I had to trade my spring cotton jammies for sweats today. LOL!

Howdy, PRO.

Great graphic!

Did you make it to the gun store today?

I thought you might have taken a break from work for one day, at least, just for the heck of it. Maybe dig around for stuff to pack and mail off to your sister to break the monotony. LOL

Sounds like you have a good head start on Monday.

We’re a little bit above normal right now but not too much. And 60s next weekend isn’t too bad a cool down. We’ve had snow on Easter more than once but it won’t happen this year.

If only the civil authorities were the only ones making the decision on being “allowed” to go to church. They are far more generous than the Hierarchs.

Never before, in the history of Christianity, have the Hierarchy essentially placed entire continents under the Interdict.

It is NOT normal for churches to lock their doors. It is NOT normal to deny the faithful the Sacraments, especially in times of plague when they need them more than ever. It is NOT normal to make these decisions on the basis of fear, be it fear of insurance liability, fear of civil authorities who are becoming increasingly uncivil, or fear of one’s own personal safety.

Jesus commanded Peter to “feed my sheep” and immediately warned him that in so doing, Peter would ultimately be carried off to a place where he did not wish to go.

If our shepherds are unwilling to walk the way of St. Gregory the Great who led a procession through the streets of Rome against the plague, much less to walk the way of Peter the Apostle, then perhaps they should be relegated to being “fishers of the deep”.

I will gladly follow a shepherd who leads by faith, not fear.

But all I am seeing these days is fear, fear, and more fear.

I’m pretty sure it won’t happen here either. It’s supposed to be 81 next Sunday. Sounds very comfy.

Hope something settles that chicken poop so you can go out without a clothespin on your nose. LOL!

81 isn’t too bad. It’s supposed to be the same here Wed. but the rest of the week is 70s. We can handle that. LOL

As of tonight, our first shot of rain is Monday but it’s a slight chance for light rain. Not enough to do much good getting rid of the stink. Rain chances are a little higher Tuesday so maybe then.

In the meantime, no playing in the flower beds.

It was a little bit warmer yesterday but still cool out there. The lake was empty except for a guy in a pickup truck looking around.

Howdy, E.G.C.

Glad to hear you had better weather for your outing. Almost had the lake to yourselves too. Looks like Gizmo thoroughly enjoyed himself.
