“He did recover from throat cancer about 20 years ago. So the cancer was in remission but of course remission does not mean cured.”

He had lung cancer and lung surgery.

A cold could have killed him.

Just what I was going to say. The illusion must be kept up because nothing is more important than harming the economy and Trumps reelection bid.

I read an article yesterday where the Feds classify every death a Covid-19 death regardless of the cause. Here it is....

The Feds are classifying every death a Covid-19 death now regardless of the cause. Just testing positive for it is enough........https://nypost.com/2020/04/07/feds-classify-all-coronavirus-patient-deaths-as-covid-19-deaths/

Sometimes couples have nothing to say to each other when they are out to dinner because they are comfortable enough to be in a companionable silence.

Nice to be around someone you know so well that you can be quiet together.

that’s right

the fact that the virus, when it overwhelms the host, removes the heme from the hemoglobin and then the body takes the iron and it is accumulated in the organs which cause them to fail while at the same time the heme impoverished RBCs do not carry enough oxygen to support life leading to anoxia and general systems shutdown and death,

has nothing to do with it.

“Paradise” selected lyrics :

“When I die let my ashes float down the Green River
Let my soul roll on up to the Rochester dam
I’ll be halfway to Heaven with Paradise waitin’
Just five miles away from wherever I am”

I'm a big fan of John's music, but not of his politics.

I saw him perform live once. I paid $250 for tickets for my wife and me. About midway through the show he went into a monologue about how bad Republicans are in general and George Bush was in particular. I told my wife we were leaving and off we went. I never forgave him for that.

His latest album, The Tree of Forgiveness, a pretty good album, contains a song called "Caravan of Fools." Trump and his supporters are the subject of the song.

Was he given HCQ/Z-pac/zinc or did the hospital subscribe to the Dr. Fauxi anecdotal crap?

Agree 100%. Though he is not an in your face AH a la (the overrated) David Crosby, his best work is apolitical and focuses of the human conditions and emotions with which all of us can identify. His music cut right to the heart and gut.

I have seen him a half dozen times over the years and politics never was part of his shows (I saw him last in 2013) and it's a shame your last experience was ruined because he decided that night to go on a rant.

I might have reacted the same way as you. In fact I did several years ago at a Springsteen concert where I walked out after dropping over $125 a ticket!
