There were certain people here on FR on Monday that were actively betting against Boris Johnson

dismissively giving him 40%, 30%, 25% odds of survival (their guesses kept going down as the news rolled in)

treated it like it was some kind of Vegas Casino bet

that was really appalling

No, what was really appalling were the number of people here who were gleeful at the chance that he would die, and who saw it as a confirmation of their dire predictions. The people who were rooting against him in order to push their narrative are the real ghouls...

The last months since this thing started there have popped up a lot of those who are not very admirable, on this site.

Mainly Hysterians.

As for myself, I stood back and tried to figure out WHY the panic worldwide over this virus.

The answer is that it was a virus being studied for nefarious means at a bio lab in China and it got loose after an accident. Why else would the Red bastards in that country try to cover it all up?
