Largely, apparently.

“Smithfield was sold to Shuanghui International in 2013.They have ChiCom ties.

Goldman Sachs owns a 5% share of Smithfield.

Smithfield is the source of the raw material, crude heparin, made from pig intestine which is used to make 25% of the blood thinner drug heparin used in the US. According to the FDA in 2014 China provides 50% of the heparin used in the USA.

In 2007 China dumped adulterated heparin active ingredients on the US and other countries. The result was deaths and permanent organ damage to many heparin recipients, including children.

So by owning the the largest pork producer in the USA, the Chinese even have control over the raw materials we need to make heparin here in the US. Heparin is absolutely vital for major surgery and dialysis.

Was so disappointed to find that Farmland is a subsidiary of Smithfield. Farmland used to be my favorite bacon

Now I’ll ONLY buy American. J.C. Potter bacon & sausage are favorites, and they’re locally owned / operated. A little more expensive, but well worth it.

Yes..a percentage of the pork processed is exported back to China. Not sure what that percentage is.

Those crook bosses are causing a panic and driving up the prices of meat over the bodies of the workers they murdered by refusing in advance to make them safer while working with plenty of space, protective gear, etc. They’re begging for a divine Flubola plague and the end of this anti-American globalist paradigm.

We all knew that the epidemics were coming and caused by anti-American trade, tourism and migration policies.

After the recovery from all of this insanity—when its all settled down—stock up, folks! Don’t wait for another epidemic! And learn to start your own businesses for producing necessities and useful things on the side—not knick-knack shops. Food, tools, clothing,...manufacturing things like that on small scales. That’s what a real prepper does.

I mean how long has the government been talking about protective gear. Face mask are not expensive.. As an adult you should have your own face mask.. You don’t need your employer to give you those.. They will have a hard time getting them also.. The workers should not go to work when they are sick!!! I’ve been in the grocery stores and the checker will cough or sneeze blow their nose and I ask them are you sick? They say yea maybe. I say to them if your sick stay home. Your getting other people sick and some could die!

More likely the “elbow to elbow” transmission of COVID was spread in their 10 to a trailer living quarters.

I would too if I could get months of unemployment and make more than I do at my regular job.

On windows 10 go to settings, ease of access, and then click “display”. You can adjust the font there.

Off topic: Can someone tell me how to make my screen text a little larger?

+++

Hehe, I set mine to 250% of normal and can sit way back from the screen, enjoy a drink while leaning back in my office chair.

Seehs, some things can’t be automated yet.

For example, picking strawberries. No matter how much Freepers might huff, puff, and moan about manual labor, we are stuck with manual labor for a whole lot of things for the foreseeable future.

And to you assholes who always wrongly accuse me of supporting illegals when I point out the above, go get F****D!

I liked Farmland pork products the most. Then, Smithfield took them over. Goodbye Farmland. It’s all Smithfield now everywhere around here, unless you go to a butcher. Not good pork in my opinion.

“There has been no evidence that the coronavirus is being transmitted through food or its packaging, according to the Department of Agriculture.”

OF course there is also no evidence that it isn’t.
