HCQ is used as a preventative for Covid 19 all over he world. Not only that , during the SARS epidemic, Anthony Fauci was screaming for the application of HCQ.

But of course, the Nay sayers cannot explain why Dr. Daniel Wallace, a famous rheumatologist from California, has 2000 Lupus patients who he is now treating with HCQ . Only one has become infected with COVID 18, but he has serious immunity issues.
Yes HCQ does not work all of the time as a preventative does it?( sarc.)
Then there are all the Wuhan Lupus patients who were being treated with HCQ who also did not contract COVID 19.
But Stay away from that HCQ, its DANGEROUS STUFF, because the Nanny State and the left says so!( sarc.)

HCQ will be used in massive quantities to reopen our nation.
And the arm chair quarterbacks will still be in denial, until they are faced with the choice to use it and go back to work,,,,,or NOT.

So, what do you make of the conclusion of the Global Rheumatology Alliance in the link I posted?
The only conclusion I can make ( assuming their study is valid ) is that it does not ALWAYS protect people from being infected with Covid-19.
But I will concede that NOTHING is 100% protective. I don’t even think that Hydoxychloroquine protects against Malaria 100% of the time.
All they presented was this:
“Over 9,500 patients have submitted surveys to the alliance, of which nearly half were diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis or lupus. Nearly a third of all respondents with the chronic disease said they were taking hydroxychloroquine, of which 189 (7 percent) said they were diagnosed with the virus.”
So, half of the 9,500 respondents means 4,750 lupus or Rheumatoid arthritis patients. A third of this 4,750 says they were taking hydroxychloroquine for their condition,that means nearly 1,600 of them were taking HCQ.
Of these, 189 said they were diagnose with the virus. The un-answered question is this -— what about the other 4,750 -189 = 4,561 lupus or Rheumatoid arthritis patients? Were they similarly exposed to the virus as the other 189?
We don’t know. But if we assume that they were, it still means that HCQ somehow helped to protect the 93% of the lupus patients.
I’ll take anything above 90% as a huge win. 100% is best but I don’t make the perfect the enemy of the good.

All 5he people doing “studies” are getting paid to do them by people who want very badly for the study to show that a drug that has already passed the FDA trials and been on the market for twenty years suddenly has unacceptable side effects.

Or show it is ineffective when actual field trials with human subjects from around the world show it is amazingly effective.
agree, this article is wrong on so many facts and points, 1)Trump has been mentioning Remdesivir, 2)-the reason Hydroxychloroquine is mentioned so much is because there are so many positive reports and cases, 3) there are millions of users who use Hydrox low cost ,the heart attack report is fake news doctors on the scene did not attribute it to Hydroxychloroquine
