I’m more concerned with what 10 million illegal immigrants with do without money and unemployment when the food runs out.

The response to this crisis is infested with “moral hazards” which is a euphemism for rewarding and/or enabling irresponsible behavior, leading to bigger crisis.

The Rats are in hog heaven.

Many of these are likely related to prepandemic rent issues, but those numbers will continue to grow.

...

But the media will turn it into a big pandemic story anyway.

The landlords are being ordered by the Government to pay All taxes, fees, and expenses on the tenants housing while they are receiving no income from the property. Smaller landlords are going to go bankrupt and loose those homes. Forced Welfare at the expense of the landlord.

How is that Fair? If the government want to do this then the government should pay the rent.

“But, the “essential business” list was long and folks honored social distancing voluntarily for the most part.”

Smart move.

Oklahoma, like Texas has got a double whammy. The oil bidness is in the shitter and literally thousands are losing their jobs as we speak.

>>>Democrats say, "Mission Accomplished".

A Republican president and a Republican governor. Oh - I forgot - the 4D chess player - the smartest and best president ever just isn't smart this time and got fooled by the deep state. He has run circles around them for 3 years - but he got stupid all of the sudden and wasn't smart enough to see this coming. So - yeah - pass that buck.

On picture, it says “5518 Woodbrier”; stamp says “...homa county”.

Apartment building in OKC, per my research.

I rent, and have a handshake deal that has held nicely for 3 years. My landlord's property looks and functions better than it did when I moved in, and the both of us do our part. No matter how bad things get, I will do my damnedest to keep up on the rent, not burn him because the government says it's okay to.

I will say though; with businesses going belly-up or curtailing operations and millions ending up on UI, landlords are not exempt from eating the sh!t sandwich that's being passed around. I feel it for them too. Where I get pissed is when the government gets involved. Let We the People handle this.

It was my impression that the stimulus was meant, in part, to help people pay their rent, their car loan, etc. Now these people haven't had their incomes diminished at all. Quite the contrary, they have extra money. Where would someone get the idea that they don't need to meet their obligations?

I ask this question semi-rhetorically. I know where they get these ideas. Just doesn't make sense to me.

The mainstream media and Democrats are going to cover this up as long as possible.

My guess is different. I'll guess that they'll highlight this as often as possible and blame it on Trump.

How wrong you are. In many apartment complexes, every single door has eviction notice taped to the door.

Most of the apartment complexes in the Boulder/Denver area are owned by one company and they are extremely aggressive in evictions. The also charge $75 a day late fees. They are just waiting for the courts to reopen then massive numbers of evictions. One legal aid group here expects 350000 families to be evicted once to moratorium is lifted.
