Aren’t blacks at higher risk of cardiac issues? Doesn’t this mean that the state of New York has just said that those with cardiac issues will now have a lowered standard of care? Isn’t that racist on the face of it?!?!

Would love to know how many ventilators he has sent to other states. The feds sent about 4000 ventilators to NYC; set up the Javits Center, the Comfort ship, converting both to COVID-19 patients when Cuomo wanted it. Cuomo seems incredibly gallant to give away equipment. He's a good sport, eh?
Cu Cuomo also sent the med ship, Comfort, away today, too. Said whoever needs it can have it.

As one who was brought back from being dead, I object. Let the medics and family make that decision.
Meanwhile, should anything happen to Fascista leader Cuomo or Comrade Mayor DeBlasio, does the DO NOT RESUSCITATE policy apply to them? Hope so. It is only fair that they suffer the same fate as the impose upon others.

I’m sure glad the paramedics who responded when I dropped dead on the basketball court in November of 2018 were not given those “guidelines”!

Unwitnessed (by EMS) out-of-hospital cardiac arrest presenting in asystole, they’re not resuscitating. That’s not too far-fetched.
However, by the time the one guy gets in there and attaches the monitor to the patient and analyzes the rhythm and determines resuscitation is appropriate, a couple more minutes have passed without CPR compressions, further reducing chances of a good outcome (rule of thumb, 2 more minutes is 20 percent less chance of survival).
Same here - had a heart attack at the age of 47, coded twice in the ambulance on the way to ER. Thank God for the EMTs who hit me with the paddles. I had just become a grandma for the first time. Now that grandbaby will be 28 next month.
Throw it on the Cuomo pile?
