That’s OUR tax money, Harvard...use your $40 billion Endowment. ..or...give back Tuition.

Having worked at two universities from 1969-2017 I know that they are leftist indoctrination centers. They produce unemployable types who become teachers of the useless subjects to other unemployable types, while voting Dem and contributing money to Dems all their lives. What a plan.

Old line from Wake Up America by Eric Bolling: Pay thousands of dollars a semester to have my daughter sit in a classroom where a beatnik professor sits on a stool and gives anti-American propaganda for hours? Not on my dime."

All the universities with these huge endowments should be made to pony up some of the costs of these student loans that they coned those students out of with some worthless degrees!!!

Thanks very much for that list.

All that money, millions of dollars, going to anti-American places (mostly, a few exceptions to prove the rule) to preach against us.

Let them earn their worth by providing value. Oh, no, that’s too much to ask. Except for all private businesses.

Since endowments tend to be conservatively invested Harvard should have a lot of interest bearing instruments plus large dividend paying companies in its portfolios

So even at a 1% return that’s $400 million a year

Harvard said it planned "to direct 100% of the funds to financial assistance to students, and will not be using any of the funds to cover institutional costs."

So Harvard will give all the money to Students as "financial assistance".

Financial assistance for what purpose?

"Why, to pay their school bills, dummy."

To whom do they pay these "school bills"?

"Why, Harvard University, of course."

So, if Harvard University "will not be using any of the funds to cover institutional costs", what will these funds be used for?

Crickets...

(Junkets to Tahiti, payments on the yacht, plump up their 401K accounts, since they DEFINITELY "will not be using any of the funds to cover institutional costs.")

Trump is surrounded and his administration is staffed with establishment hacks, nevertrumpers, and swampsters like Fauci and Birx

He’s not that powerful. They keep him in check

A “one time” 20% tax on college endoments to mitigate the effects of the pandemic foisted on the country by the intelligentsia.

Sounds fair. After all, they can always petition their CCP and Wahhabi masters to pay it for them.

OK, PDJT lets see what those ways are !“

I’m afraid this is hot air, the money won’t be returned

Count on the GOP to pass a bill that sends lots of our tax dollars to leftist universities that train kids to vote against the GOP

“Big Education is in the pocket of the Rats.”

The other way around. It is the ‘Rat politicians who are in Big Education’s pocket.

The ‘Rat politicians are the whores in this financial arrangement - turning tricks for any John with $$ and no scruples - in this case Harvard.

Jeepers. Actual data.

I think PDJT was set up. Incomplete context. Quick reaction. Baited. The ne plus ultra of the hated edu-liberal complex. Mention of Harvard elicits a predictable reaction. Boom.

Yes, mitch McConnells Republicans had nothing to do with this. The fact that they run the Senate is not relevant
