This just released article seems to indicate most if not all of the supposedly hacked information, wasn’t recently hacked:
Well that article is far more accurate than the WP. However it pretends that 4chan is responsible. Links to those pastebins were showing up all over the place. There is no way to know who created the pastebins. But forums did not create them. A person or persons created them.
It at least mentioned 9chan in there, which is what I was searching for when I found it. Thanks again for the excellent tip!
