I’d booked a week at a fishing camp for early June. Been going there for years. The camp is in Washington County, where they’ve seen a grand total of 2 cases (since recovered). Right now the owner is saying “we won’t snitch” but he’s not the one who’d be towing a boat w/out of state plates. Those guys might not survive this.
Aside from a few ski areas, Maine makes its money in the summer, from tourism. Summer camps, small scale lodging, commercial fishermen, restaurants ... this is economic suicide.
I saw this on Facebook, interesting: “Her plan is to STARVE CONSERVATIVE RURAL MAINE to “protect” more populated LIBERAL VOTING VIRUS HOT SPOTS! This is EXACTLY WHY SHAH and MILLS REFUSE TO PRODUCE TOWN by TOWN and DISTRICT by DISTRICT VIRUS MAPPING! The presentation of real time mapping will prove much of her motive is POLITICAL!”

Totally agree. Economic suicide and total insanity, as there are so few cases of the Wuhan virus in Maine. Hubby and I booked a few days at a really nice resort (that is usually very expensive) in early June in Kennebunkport. We were thrilled at the bargain we got because it was slightly off season. Guess that's off now.
If the great conservative Maine Governor Paul LePage was still in office, I'll bet you and I would be happily planning our early June vacations in Maine right now... :-(
