I filed the same day for Social Security. Getting my first check tomorrow. Fortunately for me, I’m old enough to get a decent amount, and I’m also retired military, so we will be doing OK. I knew there were good reasons to leave CA in 1973 and not go back. I am sorry you’re having problems. And I’m still astonished that the federal government did something that smacks of efficiency! Did I fall through a rabbit hole and not notice?
