Pandemic food crisis: Texas cattle ranch forced to euthanize livestock
U- Tub..... 3rd party- Also on Bitchute direct from author ^ | 4/28/2020 | Shad Sullivan North Texas Cattleman/Farmer

Posted on 05/03/2020 2:45:48 PM PDT by John S Mosby

"Hey, everybody- this is Shad Sullivan coming to you from the headwaters of Bitter Creek, Archer County, North Texas. We have to talk! "State officials will be assisting to help identify potential alternative markets, if a producer is unable to move animals, and if neccessary advise and assist on depopulation and disposal methods." L&G.we are plowing under vegetable crops from coast to coast euthanizing millions of chickens. We are aborting sows and burying feeder pigs. We are dumping milk by the hundreds of thousands of gallons. Now they are preparing us to depopulate the fat cattle ready to harvest, because of a bottleneck created by the effects of Covid this thing hasn't been created by Covid but the effects of Covid and the logistics therein.

Our food supply is in trouble, and I am appealing to producers and consumers across the nature-- to START calling. Yesterday, the first shipment of imported beef from the country of Namibia hit the shores of the USA, and yet this morning they are telling us to prepare to euthanize harvest ready cattle

.. It is time we get food on the shelves- because if you're not concerned about this food supply problem..... you better be. We have a huge supply/demand of food across this nation, we can feed the world ourselves and yet we are destroying our harvests! At the same time we are importing beef from other countries, beef that is less regulated than our beef less safe, not as high quality a product and yet... They are preparing us to euthanize our harvest-- does that make sense to America?!

Last 10 years we have been pressed to be "sustainable". I've said all along that sustainability is the PROD. Now we are being told to euthanize-- doesn't sound like sustainability to me.........."

This is not Nancy Pelosi's country, this is not Donald Trump's country (in this specific sense-- imports from Namibia? What the hell for, using whose money?). CALL our Agriculture Secretary-- get the packing plants open-- and running right now! Agriculture Secretary Perdue-- (a great GA farmer who has to know what is going on, the last week and half). See Rep. Harris's (KY) bill to expedite--- but the Production Act can ensure this happens. It is tough right now down on actual functioning real farms-- not play ones the libs fantasize about "local" food. The real ranchers and farmers. Call your Representatives--the Coronavirus hotlines in Texas, FL, GA, SC, VA, NC (pigs-- huge producer). And tell the President-- confiscate the Smithfield plant from the Chi-Com "owners" (sequester them until they get it up and running per Production Act).

Eyes wide open. This fellow is one of literally thousands reporting this-- state to state. Subsistence survivor farmers not so much-- pigs and cows on the hoof, so far. Thanks, FReepers! Blessings of Freedom.

My son & I were talking about this just last night. There must be a decent way to get the beeves to the kitchen table

How about CV-19 relief money going to truckers to move them to local butcher shops across the country and to subsidize the ranchers for NOT killing off the herd

Remember to wear your masks as you starve to death in your homes. /sarc

The government lockdown of Americans for nothing but a typical flu is nothing short of total war on the middle class and the working poor.

If the government can declare your livelihood “nonessential” then they will soon be calling your life itself “nonessential”. When this foolish and despotic lockdown sinks this country into another great depression and the government can no longer print enough money to feed you then they will let you starve to death.

It is long past time for Americans to push back against this fascist lockdown to regain our freedoms and preserve our very lives

Refrigerated trucks, rented. Beeves harvested, in state certified facilities (like the ones used to harvest and process deer and elk, for instance). But-— the interstate shipping laws prevent.... regulation, regulation, regulation. The health cleanliness in processing.... of course. But much can be eradicated to both compensate the farmer and get the food out.

You forgot farmers that are plowing their crops under, but I agree. That should be a TOP priority for these trillions we're spending. The supply and transport of food is what keeps us a civilization. The "preppers" and rural farmers aside, urban and close suburban communities will denigrate into chaos.

You would think that with the de-regulating authority that the President claims, those little impeding regulations can be squashed like bugs

Let the dissenting states throw their weight around...Just cut them out of the deal, and let their locals deal with their own petty potentates

China, Soros, and the other Stalinists... er, I mean democrats, are behind this. Who else wants to starve us, put our farmers out of business, and crush America’s economy once and for all?

The cattle farmers definitely need protection because the faux-green lobby wants to bankrupt them, probably to get their land. Anything a person in the North East can do to help??

I grew up on a farm, and my brother farmed for years. I'm calling "bullshit" on this. If they are getting ready to "euthanize" any animals, then they are a feedlot operation and NOT a farm or ranch.

Someone called into our local talker a few days ago and said it was the processing plants that were the problem. He was a farmer. Wish I’d recorded the convo.

Why can’t Texans drive over to these ranchers and select their choice of cow, have it euthanized and loaded into the car. A predetermined butcher would gut it, take off the hide and hang it for two weeks to age it. Then, cut and wrap half. The butcher would get the other half for his labor and the customer would get the wrapped half.

"nothing makes the sheeple more passive than starvation."

That is true. So do you believe that is the intention of these radical authorities with their complete shut downs?

I don't think so. I don't believe they really want a post-apocalyptic America. They would be the first targeted and no matter their money, they won't be able to hide from a starving population with a gun behind every blade of grass. Talk about the Mob!

What is causing this bottleneck?

I know a lot of meat went to restaraunts which have now closed but people are still eating.

Maybe not as much meat because so many don't have as much money.

Different supply chain too, of course.

PDJT just signed an EO invoking the ZDPA to keep the meat and poultry processing plants open.

I don't know the status of the chinese owned Smithfield plants or Tyson.
