I guess my point is, Tony Evers is one person.
If any town in Wisconsin wants to have a 4th of July celebration, they can have it. The Mayor can tell the police chief that there will be a celebration. The people of that town can show up and celebrate. The police can do NOTHING. The Sheriff can do nothing. The Deputies can do nothing. The Judges can do nothing. The County Commissions and City Councils can do nothing.
If the people don’t want them to.
It’s long past the time to realize that they hold all the power. If they just banded together and stood shoulder to shoulder who could/would enforce anything. I understand your point about the college kids and dense liberals cities holding way too much sway over things. That happens everywhere in the US.
But what happens in that small town or county away from those areas? Places where the cops, deputies, police chiefs and Sheriffs are members of those communities? Where they live next door to the people they “serve”? Are any of them going to arrest their neighbors, parents, brothers/sisters, cousins, childhood friends, childhood sweetheart/first crush, preacher/priest/rabbi, mechanic, barber, 4th grade teacher, etc etc?
Is the local sheriff or chief going to call in the State Police? For one, there isn’t enough of them. Two, that person won’t, or shouldn’t, be Sheriff much longer if they did.
My point .... if the people stand together and tell Tony Evers and the Governor to: F*CK OFF ..... Because ‘MERICA, that’s why.
I don’t think Evers will be in a position to do much. It’ll be a public relations nightmare if he sends in “troops” to quell the resistance and AG Barr has said that he wants US Attorney’s in the states to go after the politicians and their unconstitutional edicts...... https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/barr-directs-prosecutors-look-state-local-stay-home-orders-go-n1193711

AG Barr has said that he wants US Attorneys in the states to go after the politicians and their unconstitutional edicts.
Yes, but he is the Governor, which gives home power that the rest of us do not have.
The Wisconsin AG is another radical leftist and will ignore any such thing. But will come after people who tell the Governor to F-off.
Wisconsin is a 43/43 state - half of the people are going to support Evers no matter what. Half the remaining half are not going to do anything - like ‘good’ Republicans. The remaining half of the half are the only ones that will protest and from a political view point can safely be ignored or at least not reported on. The “independents” will go with the neighbors or their emotions.
The people voted for socialism either willingly or out of ignorance - nothing will change until Evers & Co are removed by election or recall.
Its nice to think better of the “people”, but in my experience most are sheeple - easily led, deceived and, shoved aside without a whimper, even tricked into supporting policies that actually harm them.
There was a time when I and many other believed SCOTUS would support the people, their Constitutional rights and, Natural Resource Harvesters, but they did not and neither did the people or the media of the day. The radical socialists won big. And have been winning ever since. DJT is just setting their agendas back by a few years.

Time to have an electoral college system for voting on every level.

Great idea! Unfortunately, that idea would require a Constitutional amendment created by a Constitutional Convention which would immediately be taken over by leftists and the upshot would be more State control and less, if any, individual freedom.
The only realistic answer is better education. Specifically, the mandatory teaching of real American history, civics, Federalism beginning in 4th to 12th grade. Follow by proficiency tests as a requirement for admission to higher education.
