He’d have gone broke without massive government subsidies. Take away the taxpayer funding and all the ‘green’ companies ultimately fail.

I was fooled. I saw “Bee” in the source and thought is was the Babylon Bee. Although ridiculous, the Sacramento Bee is not funny.

I agree, but he’s on the side of the angels on this one.

Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately.
Uhhhh, not so fast. He and his minions need to be searched for contraband leftist BS.
To: rintintin
This will cement Newsomes place in leftist lore and all but guarantee his partys nomination in 2024....the governor who stood up to the billionaire corporations.

Its interesting thats the straw that broke the camels back.
I actually have gained more respect for him... if he carries thru. It shows that he has a limit on how much sheet hell swallow.

And just like that, everyone forgot he never delivered the ventilators he bragged about. This is how a fly by night works.

Our collective efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 has saved tens of thousands of lives.
The narrative has changed from flattening the curve to keep hospitals from being overwhelmed, to we must force people to stay home to save lives.
Of course dems want to destroy Trump at any cost. That is what is really driving this train.

That’s a great point. As a long-suffering CA conservative, I gotta warn you folks in TX, don’t necessarily cheer the arrival of several thousand engineers from the Golden State. These are the sort of folks who vote for Ro Khanna or Eric Swallwell in their district. Yes, Tesla will bring jobs and money to your state, but it’ll also help elect Democrats.

Not so fast. Lefties only like the following big companies: anything Hollywood, Amazon, and Tesla.
This ones going to leave a sting.

The same paper that is begging for a bailout/financial help is mocking a business for moving to a more business friendly state??

Nah, he’ll have to hire Texans. Few of those Cali snowflakes will move to redneck land.

Musk has founded at least 4 great companies that I know of, including PayPal and Space X. He was rich before Tesla. He'll still be rich even without Tesla.
Big mistake locating any factory in California. Fortunately, he can always move out, like thousands of firms already have.
