If you can manage to locate some, try kangaroo meat. A lot like beef with maybe a bit less fat. There are a handful of specialty meats stores that carry it near me but I really don’t know much beyond that.

China's reaction makes about as much sense as “holding my breath until I turn blue!” Are the ChiCom’s going to let their people starve? They will have to get food from somewhere. The world food market is pretty fluid. If China buys from country X instead of Australia, the food produced in Australia will be purchased by those that use to purchase from country X. People need to eat.
