......”Wearing masks while shopping in stores is a small price to pay for opening the economy”......

Not any more.... we’re well passed the reasons given for wearing these..... exceptions would be in Hospitals or medical facilities for obvious reasons.

Spoken like a true slave. The Found Fathers could have said, “Being allowed to live in America is a small price to pay for enduring the King’s abuses of his power.”

here are soem studies that show the effectiveness of masks and from different materials used for masks- note that they wer tested both ways- some were more effective than others at stopping the small virus particles-

https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/best-materials-make-diy-face-mask-virus/

scroll down to see the different materials and how effective or not they are- these were actual studies done by spraying virus particles, likely a large amount, at the masks-

BUT Note that while masks might prevent it from getting in nose or mouth- the eyes are still a pathway for the virus-

yeah but people are dying from it- wouldn’t it be nice if they, those with medical conditions, didn’t have to worry about the virus too and we didn’t lose 100,000 good folks to a virus that could be so neutralized that it can’t kill?

"Wearing masks while shopping in stores is a small price to pay for opening the economy."

That's what I think. Businesses are going to open to half volume, because the virus is still circulating. It's going to kill them to have all of the expense and half the revenue.

Yawn. You need better insults.

The mask is to keep you from spreading the disease and killing innocent people.

Something selfish people like you will never understand.

I would ask Danny for how long he wants us to wear masks? A month? Six months? Two years? Forever?

Two comments:
1. Regarding “Thus, seemingly healthy people, including young people, are spreading the virus by transmitting it to others.”
There is no proof of this.
2. Who is paying you to post and say all this crap?

If you know that you have the virus, you should stay from people. The virus molecules will pass through the mask mesh without slowing down.

“Masks, including cloth masks and surgical masks, have measurable efficacy at preventing infected people from transmitting viruses to others.”

Sorry dude, but there is NOT broad agreement on that.

I think it’s really cool someone’s virus-infected breath gets sucked back into his brain.

When this virus was first recognized as a threat, the “big difference” was that, since it came from
animals, humans had no immunity to it. Is that a correct statement? Or am I just making that up?

Since I know I’m not just making that up, then I would like to ask this. If humans have no immunity then why is a large percentage asymptomatic? I’ve asked this before and have received no answers.

So, you have covid. You have no symptoms. But you have no immunity? OK then......

Are you referring to this study?

Study claiming new coronavirus can be transmitted by people without symptoms was flawed

Stand 20 feet from a candle and blow. Within 2 seconds you will see the candle flicker.

Try the same thing with a mask and you won’t be able to make the candle flame flicker unless your face is closer than 3 to 6 inches from the flame.

So even though the virus can pass through a mask it doesn’t spread nearly as far.

Plus the mask helps keep you from touching your face.
