Liberty is binary. You have it or you don’t. The barber reclaimed his. I do not need to understand where he or the protesters are coming from their actions tell me all I need to know.
Neither do I need to understand where Whitmer is coming from. Her actions too tell me all I need to know.
Take the wishy-washy middle ground on liberty over to DU.
I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice!
And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue! Its a rousing sentiment, however its phrased.”

If Danny is scared of Covid 19 let HIM stay at home. Since never have we quarantined HEALTHY PEOPLE. We should all RESIST executive orders that limit our constitutional rights. If we aren’t sick we should be free to move about. Let the sick and the vulnerable quarantine themselves. They are already doing that anyways.
Danny you stay at home. The rest of us are tired of this crap.
Unfortunately local, state and federal laws are very clear on pandemics—normal rules don’t apply, whether we like it or not.
They haven’t applied for hundreds of years—history is your friend.
Sure normal is locking up the healthy. Keep trying.

What value system says because 2% of people over 60 could die allows for the dissolution of Liberty and impoverishment of the younger generations for decades to come?
Thank youfor you input, If you see it as a serious threat, by all means, take personal action. But we have a system for passing laws that remove people’s freedom. There is a reason courts stop this nonsense.
We are not Europe. We are adults. We are free men.
And Mr. Monk does not set our health standards.

We can agree to disagree. e.g. I’m more concerned about the flu. But when one of us starts promoting things like mandatory mask wearing, shutting down businesses, controlling businesses Soviet style, all for another flu virus, we are no longer merely disagreeing. One of us supports tyranny and the other believes in fighting it.
You and my may disagree about what color of car to buy, what to have for lunch, etc., but when one supports controlling the day to day activities of another, that is something different and not to be tolerated.
Maybe the people in the big cities like her. The suburbs and rural areas...not so much, I suspect.
