New restaurants popping up every day. A police chief that believes in the 2nd amendment and urges its law abiding citizens to get their CWP to protect themselves. Mayor Duggan is a Democrat, but operates more like a moderate Republican. It’s not perfect, but Detroit is better today than it has been for decades. On the other hand, we have a governor who’s trying to destroy it.”

I am certain that the good people of Detroit, those not in the parasitic public sector, are doing what what they can. Keep in mind that Nagasaki Japan recovered more quickly from the atomic bomb than Detroit has from Democratic Party rule, that you will have to admit.
