Sink their fucking navy, like yesterday. I am sick of these warmongering poop holes. This is pre-WWII Imperial Japan on steroids. They mean war and they mean world domination. And if Russia thinks the resources of Siberia arent on their wish list, then I have a bridge to sell them.
Chinese general has warned that Beijing will not rule out the use of force to take control of Taiwan, as the Chinese Communist Party closed its annual National People’s Congress in Beijing.
The Chinese are learning the down side of Capitalism, sometimes you make mistakes and those mistakes can tank your economy.
The Chinese are losing the trade war, they are losing the “biological” war, their economy is tanking.. so what is left for them? War or at least the threat of war.
They have increased the tension between them and India, they have taken over Hong Kong (killing the golden goose) and now sabre rattling towards Taiwan.
I think we now know where Kim Jung-un is, he is now the military advisor to China.
Oops, I forgot to edit out foul language. Please delete my lost and I apologize to everyone.
We should just Taiwan a couple of fully loaded Ohio class subs. I think that will deter China.
Are Taiwan’s people armed?
Trump has Navy assets in the neighborhood over there... and most likely steaming in between Chinese border and Taiwan. It will be interesting to see what develops after the CCP fires the first round.
The planet is finished if that happens.
A decapitation attack is what China needs.
“Get ready to nuke China then.”
China maintains six submarines that are ballistic missile carriers. This is their second strike capability. Just one of those subs would set back the US economy about 100 years and kill millions. The societal and economic shock of that would be felt worldwide. Also, a large number of their land launchers are mobile. That makes killing them is a daunting task.
I’d say it would be safer to keep nukes out of the equation. What the US needs to do to keep Taiwan safe is to allow them to have their own nuclear deterrence.
Having said that, I fully expect a nuclear war, but in the Middle East. And, likely, it will be one Arab state against another. They will not attack Israel. Despite the rhetoric, the Arab states know that as long as they don’t attack Israel with nukes, they are safe from Israel.
And we don’t really talk about how much trouble they could cause in space. They have developed technology to shoot down our satellites faster than we’ve developed technology to defend them. I don’t think anyone has any idea how dependent we are on satellites. If COVID shut us down for months, just imagine what would happen if we had to rebuild our satellite infrastructure. It would be like the dark ages again.
I would not be surprised if Taiwan has secretly acquired nukes.
I am going to miss The Forbidden City.
Taiwan has some similarities with Israel that way.
“I deny them my essence.”
They need to provide automatic weapons to every adult in the nation.
The reason the japs never tried to invade the US or Hawaii was because there was a gun behind every blade of grass.
Taiwan already has numerous anti-ship missiles that have sufficient range to cover the entire Taiwan Strait and then some; shorter range missiles that can take on landing craft; and anti-aircraft SAM batteries. Some are purchased from the US and others are home grown. The China will take heavy losses before they get anywhere near Taiwan, and would never attempt this while President Trump is in office. They will wait for the next Democrat quisling, even if that doesn’t happen until 2025.
Good point. I knew of that but not thought about it in terms of whats developing.
2. homeporting a couple of Arleigh Burkes and
3. a homeporting two Virginia-class attack subs, and
4. two US Army THAAD batteries

Russian fears about Chinas aspirations east of the Urals on the rise
Be a damn shame if those Chinese Generals lost their mansions and luxury cars.
