Planned mayhem is for me the accurate way to explain what has gone on across the country this weekend.
The Left lost on the phony "Russia" hoax, and on "impeachment", and has been losing on the "pandemic" & the lock downs, is doomed to lose with Biden and had no "burning" agenda to promote.
So they HAD to create one, manufacture one.
This is supposed to be their new "1968", and we all know how that went for the Left.
Today seems a "sober" Monday, but that is not coming from me. It's the mood I see coming from everywhere else.
Not being a TV news junkie (No ABC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC/NBC/NPR or Fox or BBC for me; EVER, AT ANY TIME, I haven't "seen" the mayhem, and don't care to. So I am not "sobered" by it.
And I won't be in the days ahead.
It is a play being put on for the Left to try to bring more sheeple to their "causes".
I suspect it is and will backfire.
Let me just ask: let's not entertain it. We've seen it all before.
And once Trump declares antifa to be a terrorist organization, with a lot more serious consequences than being locked up for a weekend, their membership will drop.

No. Being arrested and charged with something serious will be like martyrdom is to ISIS - a recruiting tool “because their ‘cause’ is just”. In fact this whole weekend has been a recruiting campaign for all branches of the Left, among the mayhem.
I am not a big fan of the mayor of Columbia but he seems to be doing ok so far.

I suspect the organizations are heavily layered, in order to fully insulate the power and money at the top.
Even if you are able to locate and arrest the guy handing out cash to rioters, you are probably one several layers up from the bottom, and a long long way down from the top. They’ve had a long time to establish their methods and vale their chains off communication and insulate cells of function from each other. Hell, it even looks like they have found ways to mobilize significant numbers of people across distances in short periods of time.
So if they weren’t already treating them like domestic (not completely domestic I suspect) terrorists or at least organized crime, then they’ve got a mountain to climb.

Once Antifa is actually declared officially by the feds, they won’t be doubling down on sh**. As soon as they realize the IRS can take their stuff if they are associated with funding or being in a terrorist organization they will run.

with current technology it won’t take long. Remember KKK, Black Panthers and Weather Underground were all basically dismantled by being declared and treated like domestic terrorists. It can and will work IF it’s done.

I disagree. It has worked very well, through those IN PRISON for the Black Nationalists, La Raza and others. The ANTIFA types are going to fit right in and they share many of the same critiques of the U.S. with those groups. From those in prison it is spread and reinforced with those they remain associated with out of prison (where by the way Muslims are a growing population as well).
