New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said several incidents caught on video with police including an officer who drew his gun during protests, a NYPD vehicle moving into a crowd, an officer pushing a woman and more are under investigation. With regards to the police officer with the gun, he describes the officer in the “middle of a situation that admittedly looked chaotic” but as protesters were in front of the police officer, he drew his gun yesterday. Seeing that video “was absolutely unacceptable.”

I don’t know why NY cops go to work. The mayor hates them. He and his ideological cronies spread fear and resentment of police, and encourage their thug base to go to the streets to riot. If things go sideways, De Blasio is ready to sacrifice the cops, even if rioters are burning down the city.
NYPD needs a “blue flu”.
Daughter gets arrested - now he’s really going to go after the NYPD.
Huge pensions and the job isn’t that dangerous statistically.
I suggest Mayor D. start by disarming his security detail.

Meanwhile in a red town here in Washington, local Seattle news showed groups of guys in trucks with guns and flags protecting their community from potential trouble.
Saw similar last night on national Fox network for Philly. Funny though, the reporter girl was quick to point out that some of these Patriots appeared to have been drinking.... Gee, not a nasty word about looters/riots, but she insinuated that these Patriots were a drunk unruly mob. Unreal.

Maybe tonight the NYPD will tweet the mayors address and then stand down as protestors arrive.
First it was right wingers. Then it was drug cartels. Then it was Russians. Now it’s the police who are responsible. Idiots
The police are being put in an untenable position by their liberal overlords. Same thing often happens with our military.
This is why movies like Robocop are not that far off the mark. Robotic police and military. It’s coming.
Their programming? The liberals may just program them to be babysitters and listeners so angry people can express their feelings. The thugs will just surround them and knock them over and destroy them. I am not sure that liberals will allow programming of robotic cops to be able to kill. Thus I see increasing anarchy.
