As cities across the country are discussing defunding or disbanding their police departments, truck drivers are voicing concerns of safety. Seventy-seven percent of truck drivers say they will refuse to deliver freight to cities with defunded police departments.
Truck driving is historically ranked as one of the most dangerous jobs in the country. In 2018, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistic reported truck driving as the most deadly job in the country.
Truck drivers have spent the last year on the front line of a global pandemic and protests. Now many are fearful of what might happen if police departs disband or are defunded.

There won’t be any businesses left to deliver to in many cities. Flash mobs will likely loot everything if they are even open because who would stop them?
Guy called into Red Eye Radio and said that drivers had the right under their Teamsters contract to refuse pickups and drops or transiting any location up to and including entire states without questions

If I were a trucker, I might carry some loads to Seattle or NY City, but I would certainly demand double or triple normal rates.

Who can blame them? Everyone knows that food will run out very quickly and when it does those hungry thugs will kill for food. If the city and state govt’s dont enforce civil law then the fed will have no choice but to confront the mass of bandits. I say put them down...put them down hard with the extreme malice that they deserve. OR Let them crumble within over time and endure the tragic consequences.

The first Civil War was easier. In my opinion.
They had contrasting color uniforms and certain states and territories on each side.
We have to fight only some corporations like Nike,Gillette, Xfinity-Comcast and Starbucks. Some cities (sanctuary cities and ones supporting BLM riots). Certain relatives. Some neighbors. Who knows which people walking by in my 80% Dem city (since 1970s voting records) are viciously anti-Trump and anti-me?
Now truckers may be sabotaged or shot by snipers. And police as always ambushed and killed. And which cops will take a knee like Colin K?
This war is complex. But we did not choose it. The left planned and started it.
The George Floyd cops are in jail and going to trial someday. Why tear down the American Way of Life over that? Because that is the left’s plan all along.
They would be prime targets to be robbed, as we've already seen in the riots.
