Most of us are commenting on the CNN reporters being attacked, which is the thrust of the article (not the Wendy's burning down). Didn't you bother to read the article you posted?
There were profound differences between the American and French revolutions. The most significant was that the Colonists were Christians, who espoused the natural rights that God bestowed on humanity. It was not a revolution for the sake of revolution, but a revolution based on submission and devotion to God's Law.
The French revolution was entire secular and godless. It was about greed, violence, humanism, and the hatred of God.
