On Free Republic, there are Trump supporters, and there are anti-Catholic bigots.
(Fortunately, the latter are few.)
But for those Trump-supporting, Catholic-hating FR posters, this thread is indeed difficult. How can they put out their usual antiCatholic screed and yet acknowledge the indisputable fact that Trump’s actions and policies are of great benefit to Catholics and all Christians who are increasingly persecuted in the Godless new world order here and abroad?
Maybe the snide little comments we see here about how Trump would not be welcome in the Catholic Church and the like will preserve their like Trump, hate Catholics narrative.
I wasn’t commenting on the article, and didn’t pretend that I was. I was commenting on a specific post/thought.
Anyone is “welcome” in a “Roman church” [sic]. Only Catholics in the state of grace are permitted to partake of the Holy Eucharist. Last time I checked, the LCMS policy was similar.

King David was an adulterer with Bathsheba and got her pregnant. He (David) then arranged to have Bathshebas husband, Uriah, killed. Pretty bad dude, huh? Did God give up on him? So I also say and pray Amen to all that President Trump plans to do and a special amen to all his good deeds which most of the worldly, even some frees here, simply and willfully refuse to see or acknowledge in any way.

And a correction. Frees = freeps, on 2nd thought thou maybe the only contribution from a ‘frees’ is complaining and nit-picking.
