TUCSON, Ariz. — Gov. Doug Ducey announced new measures to control the spread of COVID-19 in Arizona at a news conference Monday afternoon.

First, the governor said bars, gyms, indoor movie theaters, water parks and tubing in Arizona would be forced to close for 30 days. Pools will be allowed to remain open, but can allow 10 people at a time, Ducey said.

The executive order goes into effect at 8 p.m. Monday.

If we would have just let this thing play out in March and April like we should have, it would be over now. Instead, we had a bunch of bureaucrats and cuck governors shutting everything down out of fear on the Republican side and maliciousness on the Democrat side. And while I love Trump, he got bamboozled on this early by Dr. Scarf and Dr. Death.

This is not going over well with conservative Arizona. Douche bag Ducey AKA Deep State Ducey will be looking for another job come next election.

Aren’t bars in Texas closed and restaurants back down to only allowing 50 percent occupancy?

I think one town mayor ordered a curfew.

Bars in Florida can sell alcohol on their premises.

What good is a bar like that? :)

Biggest false flag in American history. Washington and Jefferson are shaking their heads in disgust right now.

We have to use it as an advantage.

I don’t want things shut down. But I’d they are let’s enjoy the closed universities for example - they won’t be hotbeds of activism and voter fraud this fall. The few conservative colleges should (are) staying open and people who are committed can start going there. The remainder can go online if at all and the coffers of the big libs will be hit hard.

I’m not a bar goer but hey they homo bars are closed. Drink at home, have private parties, keep things on the conservative side.

The dem convention is shuttered: viva the rep convention even if we have to wear masks so what.

The fearful can stay home y’all show up to vote.

The libs can avoid their meetings. Y’all show up to church even if distanced.

People will be finding some new pastimes now that pro sports are in the dustbin and since they all got woke good riddance. Can you play or coach some local sports? Do that.

Not missing Hollywood are we? Let’s develop alternative amusements.

Etc. Retake some territory. Take advantage.

They’re shutting things down in Florida, too. The Karens have won.

These “new cases” are basically asymptomatic people who have been tested just for statistical purposes. One firehouse here had a fireman who tested positive (I think he’d gone to the hospital for something else, and they test you now) and then 14 others tested positive. But that only means that they had had the disease at some point, they had recovered - and none of them appears to have even known that they had it - and now they’re immune. So what’s the reason for panic?

“Washington and Jefferson are shaking their heads in disgust”

Who are they most disgusted with?

Delaying the development of herd immunity among low-risk populations. Not only will young healthy people not suffer severe symptoms but once they have immunity they will be less likely to transmit the virus to more susceptible people.

There is absolutely clear data from all over the world that kids do not sustain serious complications and don’t die, so there is no fact-based rationale for not having school operate normally. Except fear.

I live in Phoenix, and have been tracking the local response. ▲My church has gone from 2% masks to 6-10% masks. ▲Waffle House (last Thursday) was 0% masks on customers. ▲QT gas convenience store 40% masks. ▲Smart and Final supermarket, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Container Store, Dollar Tree (!), Circle-K, Wal-Mart and Guitar Center require mask for entry. (Either by entry door posted sign or guard at door. Some may not enforce the sign, but if I have an option to go elsewhere, I go elsewhere.) ▲MOD Pizza (two Saturdays ago) served but gave a spiel after we got our order. ▲Harvey's Wineburgers. Full service, no issues. ▲Fry's Supermarkets, Albertson's, Food City did not stop anyone coming in maskless. (Food City, a Mexican-oriented supermarket, had announcements on the intercom, but on in English).

They will keep this crap up until the election. There will absolutely be a “spike” in “cases” all over the country in late September/early October, to justify lockdowns and mail-in ballots. You can bet the farm on it.
