White guilt is a misguided attempt to take control over an uncontrollable situation.
If blacks are the way they are because of something whites do, or alternatively because of something whites don’t do, then the guilty white can, by trying and trying and trying, constantly adopting new concepts and new schemes, make it appear that living together is possible.

Wonder how many K-12 teachers have a copy of The American Citizens Handbook (published by NEA), and if they would dare read aloud from It in class. Is there even a copy in their school library?

No one I know has a copy of that. I’ve never even heard of it before.
Question: What Causes White Guilt?
Answer: Stupidity. Sniveling, knee-crawling weakness. Psychological retardation. Inability to reason above the sub-juvenile level.
NEA bought the rights from 4-H in 1941 and they began publishing and distributing The American Citizens Handbook.
It became known as “The American Creed”. It has American quotes, stories, songs, poems and some Christian Scripture. It was given to immigrant citizens-to-be, to help them understand our America.
In 1968, the NEA had the last 10,000 or so copies destroyed, supposedly in a NY landfill.
If a pubic school teacher read from it it to her students today, I strongly suspect she would be disciplined.
