I can only speak for my state (WA), there's a heck of a lot more testing being done while the rate of positives and hospitalizations has been flat with deaths declining.

Many say the deaths and hospitalizations will increase in 14 days proportional to the increased positives. They said that 3 weeks ago and 6 weeks ago and ......

The rise in cases without increase in hospitalization or death is the GOAL off the shut-down to flatten the curve. The destination is HERD IMMUNITY.

The medical folks are 1) supplied with essentials, 2) providing the most effective treatments. As a result the death rate for most ages is LESS THAN ANNUAL FLU.

The data is getting below the criteria for epidemic.... CDC must call victory and let all the states get back to normal operations.

Family member has access to Hospitals Covid deaths data in a major City.....he says the news is massively lying....the deaths have dropped substantially in all those in his city.

Number of cases means zero.

The only numbers to watch are deaths and more importantly two death rates - deaths per number of confirmed cases, and deaths per million people.

Cases that do not fall into the death category are not an expression of the virus being more deadly now. It is an expression of a lot more younger folks without comorbidity factors getting their mild and/or asymptomatic case and their share of herd immunity.

For those who still think Sweden was wrong, it’s statistical death rate is now 0%.
