After the election in November we will never hear about COVID-19 again.
If this is the case, that there is no permanent antibodies, then isnt the quest for a vaccine futile?
“How many deadly viruses have a 88% asymptomatic rate?”
How many?
SOMEONE BRING THE KOOLAID
How convenient for our command and control tyrant masters.
If true, then the people that it will kill will all die, and then the mortality rate will drop to nearly zero. Which means it will become no big deal.
But, this sounds like somebody trying to drive traffic to their blog, and the site looks like a blog.
My assumption from the beginning. Kill the Geezers, cripple the kids, etc etc etc. And Get Trump!
So this is the first virus where anti-bodies are not anti-bodies and the virus does not mutate to lesser strains. It came from freakin outer space!
None for the flu, just a shot.
Who are these people? What backs them?
Trumps prospects of re-election must really be doing well if this is the new scare story.
As the libs said about HCQ...show me the peer reviewed study that shows a cloth mask works to protect against viral transmission.
Of course I am always going to put FULL confidence in anything published from a site with the name “themostimportantnews.com”!
None of which I am aware. this is weaker than most, affecting old and infirm.
Potentially and possibly?? Interesting choice of Scientific Words for his prognosis.
If things remain the same potentially the Sun will come up tomorrow in the East and possibly set in the west.
13 Jul: UK Express: ‘Comparing COVID to Ebola is a joke!’ BBC host ridiculed by Uganda nurse in radio outburst
BBC News host Nick Robinson was ridiculed by a nurse from Uganda after he asked her how she compared COVID-19 to Ebola.
By Alessandra Scotto di Santolo
Mr Robinson asked: “What about for the people who have coronavirus? You’ve seen people who get Ebola and how serious that is. How does COVID compare for them?”
She replied: “Comparing COVID to Ebola would be a kind of joke to the many Ugandans that have lived to see the impact of Ebola.
“People can cope with COVID-19, they eat normally, they interact in communities until they are found out.
“They are literally interacting with each other, that doesn’t happen with Ebola.
“Once there is an Ebola outbreak in the region, protection is at the very high pitch...
She added: “Ebola is like 100 times worse.”...

STRANGE how BBC chooses to focus on Uganda & bring up EBOLA - YET UGANDA HAS NO DEATHS WHATSOEVER FROM COVID?
segment: 2h40m45s to 2h48s:
AUDIO: 13 Jul: BBC Radio 4 Today Program: Nick Robinson
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000kw3p
ROBINSON ALSO ASKS ABOUT THE LOCKDOWN:
NURSE: people are frustrated because they have been financially affected; they’ve lost a lot of business, they are struggling to put bread on the table...they want to go to work, they’re asking why aren’t they allowed to go to work; they see it as a punishment.
ASKED WHY COVID HASN’T RUN RAMPANT, nurse says Ugandans probably have access to more organic food; lower cases of obesity etc; plus maybe a bit of unexplained immunity.
BBC’s Robinson then talks to Mary Stephen, WHO Rep in Africa, who laughs at possible bit of immunity comment, brings up ebola, etc. younger demographic, but no good explanation about Ugandans living in multi-generation homes, yet no transmission.
Scientists:
“It’s pretty clear that we need more studies, and much more money to fund those studies.”
They'll resemble a wrap around motorcycle helmets, protecting entry of the virus into your ear canals, nose, mouth and eyes and it will also protect against lice. They'll have sensors built into them which will send signals to the authorities if the helmet is removed while in public. Those that refuse wear them, they will be locked onto your head similar to locks used for ankle devises for prisoners. The good news is, they're going to come in a variety of pretty colors.
And that the disease will become milder
And that we will have effective treatments that are as effective and easy to obtain as antibiotics
Like treating flu or strep
Kids used to die from Scarlet Fever until it became less virulent
(Checked in to see which assumption they’d single out...)
Yeah, it may be like that.
But, OTOH, research on it *may* lead to vaccines for ALL this type of virus.
That would be tremendously great for humanity.
