When that sucker pops and Wuhan gets washed downstream, it’s gonna give a whole new meaning to the term, ‘wet market’. Do fish get the sniffles?

I hope so too. You may think it’s cold, but in truth it would be a very good thing for the world. They are on a roll around the world, and this would be a major humiliation for them. It would be losing face bigly if that showpiece dam fails...It might really hamper their expansion and SAVE more lives than it took.

LOL...how long would it take to evacuate 38mm people from China to Siberia or Morocco?

What mode(s) of transportation?

Honestly, our country would be better off if Washington D.C. was laid waste by a massive flood than this, which will mostly just wipe innocent Chinese peasants just trying to make a meager life.

Get your sentiment, but did you really mean to say: “God is way behind the times.”?

I surely wouldn’t want to explain that to Him to His face, (which you WILL do).

That's some twisted, pretzel logic right there, but I guess if it makes you sleep better at night thinking these deaths would be good for the world, less power to you.

“I hope it fails.“

Wow.
You know that thousands of innocent people will die?

It was more of a reaction of the post indicating that God was mad at China. I’m thinking God has many more places on this planet to be mad at. I probably didn’t word my post the right way. It wouldn’t be the first time I did that, and it won’t be the last.

Hehe..sorry... I was trying to give a sense of perspective of 38MM people. Maybe this does a better job-

38MM people is 2.7% of China's population, making it about 9MM people on a US basis or the population of the five boroughs of NYC. That's the magnitude of the relocation effort - moving NYC to New Jersey.

That's a lotta bodies.

I feel bad for the people in it’s wake if it breaks but I hope the U.S. doesn’t send help the way we usually do in natural catastrophes.

To get the 38 million people out of harms way & to where they could be fed and temporarily housed does not require 38 million long trips.

This is pretty minor compared to the travel that occurs on Chinese New Year, which is estimated at 3 BILLION trips of one kind or another over the duration of the holiday.

So it's safe to say that when the dam does break, you won't be in favor of sending any relief to those who are in need. Did I capture that correctly? (I won't even entertain the idea that you would go there to help if the opportunity arose. Perhaps you'd go to help count the bodies).

You do know the U.S. and other nations will be sending massive amounts of aid when that happens, don't you?

If that dam breaks they won’t be able to invade Taiwan.
= = =

Check to see if they have been stockpiling surfboards.

Ride them all the way to Taiwan.

Agree!!

Not an easy feat.

I’ve seen how difficult it is to evacuate the great Houston area, during a pending hurricane.

Of course, these people have had more warning time than hurrican evacuees typically have. But, still!
