...using the “highest level of professionalism” in dealing with a city councilwoman who made racially-charged remarks to him when he issued her a parking ticket. Should have used a taser instead.

I was so mad at a $10 parking ticket once that when I paid in cash I dramatically crumpled up and threw away the receipt in front of the clerk. Well, apparently someone realized they could then just take that sawbuck and pocket it. A couple of years later I got picked up from a stop n frisk in a nearby town due to a warrant! I didn't have $10 on me so I had to have someone get someone else to bring me $10!
As I was leaving they noted I was just in time - a detective had driven 70 miles to come get me. What a waste of time for everyone all around! Keep your receipts!
