Increased testing and erroneous reporting have a lot to do with it. Facilities in FL, and God knows where else, reporting 100% positive result. Hospitals still reporting people who die with Covid as dieing from Covid. Increased positive cases aside, the important numbers are hospitalizations and deaths. I know at least three people who were informed by the local Health Dept. that they were being reported as positive for Covid and needed to quarantine. They hadn't even been tested.
The whole virus thing has been one lie after another. 2 weeks will flatten the curve has 2 and a half month later been turned in to the "new norm". 2M deaths dropped like a rock to what ever it is now; with the CDC at one point admitting that deaths might be over estimated by as much as 25%. Wear masks, N-95 only to save health care heroes, cloth masks don't work, now they do work; the mask thing has been all over the place. Now, they are literally telling people wearing an N095 mask with a valve that they must double mask. Going to the hair salon or bar will spread Covid, but thousands of people rioting across the country hasn't had an impact. It goes on and on.
The whole mask thing reeks of classic Fascism. The government can not force everyone to wear masks. First, because thinking people know at this point that the virus is NOT the killer they were told it was, and secondly because an informed and free people are going to take responsibility for themselves and not look towards the government. So, the gov leverages corporations, and coerces small businesses in to enforcing the desired policy under threat of fines or being run out of business. Mussolini must be looking up from his perch in Hell and smiling.
The people most apocalyptic about the problems related to the plague tend to oppose the best and most obvious solutions to solving them. I am afraid this opposition to the solutions has taken on an evangelical dimension where past failures in the learning process have justified mistrust and rejection that doesn’t respond to rational arguments when new information is discovered.
I suspect a scientific analysis, which isn’t possible with all the propaganda, would show 25-30% COVID deaths, maybe even less.
COVID19 over-reporting by US institutions:
* Counting as COVID, death by non-COVID for COVID positive individuals
* Large monetary award for COVID classification
* Placing COVID patients on ventilators; often contra-indicated we should now know
* Large monetary award for COVID patient on ventilator
* Killing elderly by pushing COVID patients into nursing homes
No “incentives” were in place when this started, so what explains the death rate during that time frame?? Nope...not buying it.
