Those Canadians can be wily. I suspect their first recourse will be to avoid the tariff by shipping aluminium to the U.S. instead of aluminum.
I suspect Canada has gotten uppity since SpaceX has launched Bob and Doug into space and recovered them both safely.
Any American who buys a can of beer, a soda, a car or a bike will suffer.
.... Definitely sounds like a threat.
Well, I haven't bought any of those things in years, so I guess I'm ok.
Sadly I live here but I really hate Canada at this point.
The border will open soon and I am moving to Alaska.
I read annecdotes that Canada isn’t making all the aluminum. China imports are up and China is dumping aluminum into Canada specifically flood the US market. Anyone have any info on this?
Some Canadians aren’t pleased that their CCP subsidies are no longer going to be enough to keep the profits flowing at the expense of American manufacturers and lost American jobs.
Some wealthy Canadians are going to have to go back to earning an honest living.
Have you lived there before?
Why would Trump get protectionist on our ally for a mineral we need here in the US?
Because Canada is not our ally, merely neighbors and a socialist country who hates us and take from us.
Whatever...still dumb to give them tariffs.
Canada will have its a** handed to them.
He hasn’t given them anything. Maybe Canada will go back to their promise to stop the dumping. And there will be no tariff. Think.
I can see a reason because of how Canada treats us:
At that time, Canada retaliated with C$16bn in tariffs on American products, targeting items manufactured in key Republican-held electoral districts including ketchup, bourbon and lawnmowers.
Yes, how DARE someone respond in kind.
Canada loves to dish but can’t take......they have taken advantage of the US for decades....we need an even playing field......
do you think Alaska can secede from the US?....we need a destination..
