Yes, very much so but they are pragmatic too. They realize the US is a better friend than Iran and respect Americans. Will that be the case in the future? Pragmatic as I said.
Dubai is basically the Vegas of the Middle East. Many are Muslim in the sense that most in the US are Christian...may go to church on Christmas and Easter but that’s about it. Very different ball game in UAE compared to, say, Saudi Arabia which I’ve really lost my patience with.
