Keeping your hands clean is the key, so the mask doesn’t germ up from touching it.

I don’t wash my hands and I’m an avid nail biter. That may explain why I have the immune system of a buzzard. :)

I also really never get sick any more. I assume everyone will be exposed to this and your immune system will determine the outcome. I also drink lots of coffee, which is a doorway for zinc to enter your cells and stop any virus in its tracks.

With the time zones factored in, they hit LA about 4pm.

You're right. I forgot to factor that in.

I was trying to “keep up” with the traffic. I looked down and I was going 95. I stopped trying to keep up and dropped down to the low 80s.

I've done that before. I'm not really too interested in speed. One of my favorite trips was a cruise from the beginning to the end of the Natches Trace Trail. 50 mph top speed the whole way, and no stops except for gas/water.

Some folks would occasionally pass me like I was standing still, but I kept it to the posted legal speed limit.

Aside from my parents?

My dad was happy when he joined the army because he could sleep late.

But I do t recall them talking about “running errands” on the interstate at 5 am.

Not a big deal.

Big deal. I finished a run in about five minutes back in the ‘80s.

Exactly right. Back in 2003 I had a breakdown in Kansas on I70. Clear nice day and fortunately a cop spotted us right away and came to check on us. He radioed in to the nearest town for a tow and said it would likely be 20 minutes and that he’d be back in half an hour to check on us again if we hadn’t been towed yet. We got out of the vehicle and waited well away from it until the tow showed up to avoid that danger.
