Before you make fun of conservative social media personalities, dear liberals, I urge you to consider the plight of Cher.

Prior to Cher launching into her latest strange Twitter meltdown, we were told the United States Postal Service was in trouble.

It wasn't supposed to be able to handle the massive influx of mail it was set to receive if there were to be widespread mail-in voting for November's election. And now, liberals want the Postal Service to be bailed out because otherwise, how will we be able to cast our ballots this fall?

many opportunities for employment at the Postal Service, including seasonal hiring," she said, in addition to providing a link to seasonal jobs.

However, most Postal Service seasonal jobs don't require you pull the, "Do you know who I am? I'm Cher!" card not once but twice.

So, besides amassing a crapton of money, this attempt, like the rest of her sordid life=FAIL. Tramps and Theives. As an aside, why didn't obxxx use 'chair's' song "half breed" back in the day? Maybe hVrris could use it?

And yet they handle the Holiday season every year, hmmm, I call BS on this 25 billion theft.

Look at it this way, the postage for a single stamp is 55 cents, a ballot would be $1.10, for both ways. So we are looking at 160 million registered voters, that comes out to $172 million dollars in postage for the ballots. Tell me why they need more then $172 Million?

And at $25 billion, we should allow FedEx and UPS to bid on that, I bet they can get it down below 1 billion and guarantee all filled out ballots will arrive on election day with tracking.

The post office in normal times handled 477 million pieces of mail a day. COVID has cut that a bit.

If every person who voted did so by mail-in, and did so over a 1-week period, that would be about 25 million extra pieces of mail a day, about a 5% increase.

Hardly the way to SWAMP a system.

".I Called & Said Hi This is Cher Do U Accept volunteers.”NO, Need Fingerprints & Background Check”😥"

According to HER account of the conversation, USPS doesn't believe Cher can pass a fingerprint and/or background check.

I guess she didn’t realize they don’t hire pedophiles. She always did like them young.

There's a basic postal exam you must pass to be considered. The USPS looks for grades in the 90% range to be considered and you don't get to choose which PO you go to.

(From an informed friend who works at the local PO)

Her ex, Sonny Bono, once said she is really dumb.

I am sure he had the painful experience to make that assessment.

OKAY, I am ignorant of the current plight of the USPS.

I have heard that they are having an issue getting mail delivered just recently. Nancy called the House back into session to have a Saturday vote to support the USPS.

What exactly is the problem currently? Is this have to do with their mandate to full fund their pensions again?

FYI, I have a friend who walks a route for the USPS in Rhode Island. She told me that a lot of people have retired recently during covid. That has led to a slow up of the handling of the mail.

Please enlighten me.
