This is a really bleak thread.

I thought Beck and Levin were about as idiotic as you could get going after Trump as they did in 2016. But here’s a guy blatantly admitting the error of his ways and getting attacked by most here.

I knew the concept of Christianity and forgiveness was largely lost in the nation. I thought it was reasonably safe here at Free Republic but I was wrong.

While this is great and all... I find it very difficult now to trust Glenn Beck’s judgment when he was so unbelievably wrong on Donald Trump (and insulting and rude at every step of the way).

I have a continued skepticism now for other people like Erick Erickson, Ben Shapiro, Senator Mike Lee, and even Mark Levin, though I think Levin has redeemed himself at this point.

I believe Glen Beck is sincere . one of the things you have to remember 10 years ago glen beck was on fox with the white boards trying to educate people about the evils of progressivism. his biggest sin was not understanding how much he had been indoctrinated by the media he works in. he definitely is not a conservative but he is also not deep state media or some one trying to deceive us... ask your self how much have you gotten wrong.

I have not read the whole article on Glenn Beck. I see no reason not to refuse to consider his present apology as sincere. I have known more than one person caught up in situations that influenced their thinking for a time and who later reexamined their life and resumed their previous positions on many things. I hope that Glenn Beck maintains his support of Pres Trump for reasons non political as well as political. Stay healthy Glenn. Our minds can get whacky when we indulge in too much of anything. You have the ability to influence the American people for the better. Freedom or communist tyranny. God bless you and your family.
