Someone rolled up on me at the King Soopers on 84th and Pecos a few years ago. Saw him coming, though. He just asked for change, luckily. Didn’t have to draw on him.
Ammunition is expensive, ya know.

Apologies, meant to add this to prior post #2.
This is a gun stat that the anti-gun people NEVER acknowledge, use of a gun without firing. No one hurt in the encounter and crime prevented. When danger is immediate, law enforcement is minutes away!

Most times a gun is used in self defense it is never discharged. This is but one example.

I've seen this tactic on the 'Active Self Protection' youtube channel.
The victim will throw his wallet several feet away, and by the time the perp grabs it the victim pulls a concealed pistol.
To me, if the perp is still holding his/her pistol when he/she faces you again, they're fair game.

Not bad for a bangless ending.

The carjacker was very lucky.
It is a crap shoot if he would of run or started shooting.
It only takes one unlucky round to end your life.
Throwing the desired object as a distraction is a good tactic.

LOL, has he been bailed out yet with money raised on GoFundMe? - the same system that won’t allow fundraising for Kyle Rittenhouse.
Or maybe LeBron James provided the bail money.

“Cho was jailed on suspicion of several charges, including aggravated robbery with a weapon, careless driving, second-degree trespassing, felony menacing with a weapon, leaving the scene of an accident and aggravated motor vehicle theft.”
Out by 5pm.
Judge’ll make him promise not to do it again...let him off with a stern warning.
