A pair of Missouri residents connected to a militia group traveled to Kenosha, Wis., amid demonstrations over the police shooting of Jacob Blake "to loot and possibly 'pick people off,'" according to a federal criminal complaint.
Michael Karmo, 40, and Cody Smith, 33, both of Hartville, Mo., were arrested Tuesday at a hotel in Kenosha County on federal charges of illegal possession of firearms. Both men are barred from possessing firearms because of past criminal convictions.
Karmo has prior convictions for vehicle theft, evading a peace officer resulting in injury or death and burglary, among other crimes. Smith has a domestic battery conviction.
According to the complaint, the Kenosha Police Department informed the FBI that a law enforcement agency in Iowa received a tip that the pair were traveling to the city with firearms. The FBI obtained messages between Karmo and the tipster, some of which showed Karmo posing with what appeared to be a rifle and drum-style magazine, the complaint said.

I can’t find the link, but the NFAC has stated it is their constitutional right to form a militia, and if Trump wins the election, to overthrow the government.
There IS a militia that goes to these “peaceful protest” riots.
They say it as though he’s a card carrying member. Hence my somewhat sarcastic question.

What better way to throw Republicans into complete confusion, eliminate all support for cops, and gain permanent subservience to Black Lies Matter than the headline that a reputed Blue Lives Matter group harmed the President touring riot damage on Tuesday? The claim that one photo on their (now down) website shows one of them dressed in blac blok and their criminal records gives the storyline away. Militias don’t dress in blac blok and they don’t have criminal records. Question is, has anyone, anyone, heard of a 417 group? Why did both waive their miranda rights when it gains them no advantage?

True; so were the three who attacked Kyle; but not the stick guy and other one who backed up who Kyle didn’t shoot. IMO the focus needs to be on the criminals released and who made that happen.
Try a search for “417 militia.” I saw no hits from that except for hits from the same news story about the two criminals (emphasis on “story”) and from some street addresses that include the phrase.
The media people made it up, or the tipster made it up. They should know better. So should the feds, if they reported that part of the story without checking it out first.
“417” has been used to refer to methamphetamine made in the Ozarks, though. It’s the area code in that area. And who likes meth? Commie rioters...and maybe the Ozark crooks arrested in Kenosha.
