That’s so funny.. I, too, was looking at riot maps to determine where I might flee to should The Jersey Shore go down the tubes.
I agree. But I am not going to get in my car and drive 90 miles to prevent these fools from burning down their own neighborhood.
This stuff happens where the 13% live. At least for the most part.
It is driving the home prices in my suburb full of good schools, diverse—but smart residents, and large lots through the roof.
The BLM folks are not going to walk to my neighborhood, or get dropped off, and then trapped here. They don’t have armored carriers. The logistics don’t work.
And if the kids in town get all worked up, their parents will kick the crap out of them. Even the black kids.
Actually, the black kids are more polite than the white kids in my Jersey Shore town/county.
I guess not even San Diego could avoit the insanity.

Nor do I in Los Angeles. Very early on we had groups that walked around Hollywood but:
There were no blacks
They did nit riot
So I’m wondering if we dodged a bullet.
L.A. is so massive I think they have a har time figuring out where to demonstrate.

Sounds like a lot of us are.
I’m looking hard at southwest Wyoming; it had a few demonstrations but are 3-4 hours from large cities that had rioting. No individual income tax; they do have sales tax which we have the same here in Tennessee.
