No, she will buddy up with the wise Latina. Hispanics clan together l know because the love of my life wife is one and l speak from experience they have a pack mentality and that horrible woman bring her to the dark side count on it.
To me, it appears Politico is trying to distract us & Trump from Amy Coney Barrett - OUR choice.
I never ever trust Politico.
Y’all are making a very big deal over the wrong things.
You could nominate a hard core anti abortion judge, somehow get her past Murkowski Romney and Collins, and if it costs a SINGLE VOTE in the election, it is a loss. Why? Because they don’t rule on the court the way conservatives pretend they will during nomination.
Kavanaugh has already come in with a moderate ruling. Roberts certainly has, and they looked acceptable during nomination.
No. Don’t run round in circles on this. This nomination IS ABOUT THE ELECTION. You don’t have any idea how they will rule on the bench so the best thing to do is try to win votes in the election.
If Amy Barret has already gone through the confirmation process WHY pick someone who hasnt??
We have an opportunity to turn the tables on them and blow this thing wide open. President Trump should appoint a conservative black women to the seat, and watch them self destruct.
What’s a lagoa? Is that like an iguana?
Because he needs to win.
How many votes did Trump gain by the way he reacted to RBG’s death. I’m predicting a bump. The internet agrees on nothing but no matter where you go with thT 50 second plus video of Trump’s reaction it is overwhelmingly positive. You’ll notice that cnn buried it in a 5 minute video and maybe and ther others posted nothing. Nevertheless those videos have millions and millions of views.
C'mon man...we all know the "source" was Mercedes Schlapp.
“Trump should nominate Obama then sit back to what the Libs either try to destroy Obama or themselves for having to support Trumps nominee.”
I had the same fleeting thought about Merrick Garland.
Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins says the nomination of a Supreme Court justice to fill the vacancy left by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg should be made by whichever candidate wins the presidential election.
Citing the proximity to Election Day now just weeks away she said in a statement Saturday: “In fairness to the American people, who will either be re-electing the President or selecting a new one, the decision on a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court should be made by the President who is elected on November 3rd.”
Barrett is top choice.
Rushing is #2.
Both are young, especially Rushing.
I have come to the decision to never trust any media outlet
“How do Democrats in the Senate vote against a Latina?
Seriously?
Watch ‘em.
I think you are right about it not working, but I am not nearly so confident that Trump won’t name her. I fear yet another GOP named squish.
Just watch the video...
She’s got the “it” quality that Trump likes on television. The story. The narrative. The swing state.
As long as her legal background checks out as conservative, she’s going to be a winner.

I don’t see it. She was originally appointed by Jeb Bush. Read the cases she’s known for and you really wouldn’t know she was a conservative judge. She sailed through her Senate confirmation with an incredibly suspicious 80-15 vote. (The other women supposedly being considered squeaked by with 50-something to 40-something votes.) Far too feted by female and Hispanic special-interest legal groups. Might she be a tad bit better than Harriet Miers would have been? Maybe. But I’d be shocked if she were even a Roberts, Gorsuch or Kavanaugh.
Politico has gotten everything wrong since its inception, including periods, commas, subject-verb agreement and how to boil hotdogs.
Let’s find a better source to howl at rather than the 50 IQ apes at Politico.
Actually, he had already put her on his list of potential SCOTUS nominees on September 9th.
Oh, ok, thanks.
The sudden enemedia interest in her still smells to me like some kind of steering attempt.
