I have been saying for years one day Christians and Muslims will become allies to fight the growing secular world

To the contrary, Muslims have already aligned with the Democrats to overthrow Christians. After that is accomplished, then they will take on the Democrats.

Well said. Last weekends Prayer Day on the DC lawn does give me some hope. That said, revival comes with nations brought to their knees. A friend of mine firmly believes a Biden win WILL bring the US to it’s knees...I remain optimistic believing Trump will win and buy the US some time....

They are dying of neglect and lack of interest, not external pressure.
.............................
You have that exactly backwards. The enormous external pressure coming from every sector of the secular world has induced hundreds of millions of people to abandon their religious faith and to embrace instead ideologies that have always been hostile to their former religious convictions.

The enormous external pressure

Enormous compared to what?

My Religion has survived over 3000 years of seriously evil people bent on our destruction; Seleucids, Romans, The Catholic Church (pick a century, any century), Russians, Hitler, any many many others.

But last month, a Synagogue broke a 2200 year liturgical tradition rooted in avoiding persecution. They substituted reading The Haftarah (Prophets) for reciting the platitudes of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. They weren't forced to do it. They did it because they stopped caring about what the actual Prophets had to say.

The lefty Muslims maybe. The Omar Ilhans and the Linda Sansour types. My brother has a business near Detroit and Dearborn and has Muslim clients and they are strong conservative business owners and hard workers.

The books says the martyrs will die by the sword.

Who else decapitates people as a matter of course, now?

Yup.

That’s good to hear. But we must wonder if they’ll vote for Trump and other Rs.

They did it because they stopped caring about what the actual Prophets had to say.
...........................................
Don’t you think a relevant question would be to ask WHY they stopped caring about what the actual Prophets had to say? Because if you do ask, the inevitable answer is that they have been psychologically conditioned by the zeitgeist to cease caring (believing?) what the actual Prophets had to say. If you understand the meaning of “zeitgeist” you will understand my point.

Yes, the question is relevant. And, no it's not psychological conditioning.

Don’t be coy

Coy? I'm not trying to bury the lede. I've mentioned this twice now. What is offered by most religions is worthless or close to it. People reject that because it doesn't give their lives any meaning.

Why should I show up for services when I can get the same content on cable news? I mean it's not like I didn't know what Ruth Bader Ginsberg believed. I hear similar things from Catholics like complaining about the Mass or statements made by the Pope. Evangelicals go on about the "Prosperity Gospel" And they are right. But that is internal, not external. So, I don't get the whole persecution thing. It's not persecution if it comes from inside your organization. It is something far, far worse.

Okay, this is a post I can understand and relate to. BUT, if it is “something far, far worse” what, in your view, is that something?
