The dodgers is the baseball team from LA? When did that happen and who knew it???
There was a World Series this year? I had no idea.
it wasn’t a real MLB season... it wasn’t a real NBA season... World Series and NBA Finals with asterisks...
President Donald Trump by a 26-point margin in California

and?
Who had more cardboard cutout attendees...LA Dodgers or Biden/Harris rally?
Whatsa a Dodger?
I can’t see how this is any sort of “omen” for Joe. I got bored reading the over-long article, but from what I read it seemed that the Dodgers winning the World Series favored republicans. Maybe this one is different because it was a fake season and fake World Series (that nobody watched)?
I was going to say “If a ballgame is played and no one sees, did they really play?”
I had to wade through this asinine article to see that the author’s thesis is that because the Dodgers’ 1988 championship coincided with Bush 41 winning the White House, and because Bush 41 and Biden both served as VP, the Dodgers’ championship this year is a good omen for Biden. Uh-huh.
And who won that year?
Newsweek would be better off having a voodoo doctor telling them Sleepy Joe and the Kamal are going to win!!!!
No kidding. I live in the LA area - have been a massive Dodger fan since I was born - but didn’t watch anything Dodgers this year - not the playoffs, etc.
No one I know in the area watched it either - yesterday I was out all day running errands and saw only ONE person wearing a Dodgers T-shirt, the day after the World Series win.
As for Biden winning - I heard the exact opposite - that years the Dodgers win the World Series are years Republicans take the White House.
Every Time Dodgers Win World Series, Republicans win the White House

They forget it’s 2020. Nothing is guaranteed.
In this case, I only got as far as the source and didn't read the story.
Come on folks, it's NewsWeak. The magazine that's been so unreliable since I was in high school in the mid 60s that I was told not to use it for a source for my term papers. It's had a decidedly liberal bent since the Washing Post bought it in 1961 and continues with its current owner, an American businessman. It's about as thin as a cigarette paper and a circulation of three or four people.
I wouldn't put too much stock in this article.
Now that’s funny...
Just because it happened in 1988 doesn’t qualify it as an omen. The Doyers have won 7 World Series Championships and only 2 in even numbered years (1988, 2020).
Imbecilic is the work that comes to mind. Every time I think they're reached the rock bottom of measurable intelligence, somebody grabs a shovel.
This excerpt didn’t have the gag. What’s the thing about the Dodger victory that’s supposed to indicate the winner of the election?
