We've all seen what you're really worth. Bullchit polling, forecasts, projections, on and on. It all boils down to you miserable whores would sell your mothers for a quarter.
The comment section in The Hill is all full of libs that have a level of hysteria I have never seen before. They have completely lost their minds with fear of the China Virus.

At best you are getting a 60% chance of being inoculated against a virus that they have a vaccine for and they thought highly enough of it to include it in this years cocktail.

There are lots of different flus.
And many diseases, like tetanus, require boosters after awhile.
For C19, the booster will come not from new shots but constant exposure. Those who have had C19 but still isolate themselves may lose immunity over time.

Scientists are usually happy with 95% statistical confidence.
But when it is political, 1 in 10,000,000 or 99.99999% confidence isn’t good enough.
The Pfizer vaccine is supposedly 90% effective. That is obviously 1 million times less effective than recovering from an actual infection.
At this point I’d like to do the Rip Van Winkle thing and go into deep hibernation for the next 20 years...hopefully by then this mask-hysteria will have ended.

I might get the kind of blood test that can show you’ve had the bug sometime ago and never knew it, and then I will make copies of those test results, carry the copies in a pants pocket and quit masking up all the time.

If only 1% can get it twice, that is definitely an immune group, byt the actual definition above. “Highly Resistant” = 99% resistant? Sure. Any legit epidemiologist would certainly agree.

that scenario, dystopian as it is, would be preferable to what I believe will happen; no one will be allowed to move freely about anymore without the blithering masks, because of the uncertainty of successful immunization...
in fact, I think the protection required will progress from the current masks to triple layered ones, and face shields will not be deemed sufficient without a mask...
How many million are claimed to have had Covid by now, not be dead nor still hospitalized and so survived it? Fraction of claimed, much less proven, repeat cases is miniscule, not a significant risk. Locking them down further harms the survivors , doesn’t protect the vulnerable, and shrinks the pool providing essential services increasing the vulnerable’s risk.
