Sounds like only MSM news is acceptable, sure hope not as with the total move of the MSM to the Communist thought police a growing number of new sources are springing up, new voices to be heard. I can't speak for Jim and John, but I think the PayPal issue is just a temporary malfunction due to issues with the server migration. Hopefully will be A-OK soon.

If anything, I think Mariner was closer to saying the opposite. In the body of the thread he stated "Use reputable sources...", which these days pretty much rules out a fair portion of the MSM.

For at least the last year, I have been getting a "Not secure" flag when I visit some of the Free Republic open forum pages.

The click-on message says:

"Your connection to this site is not fully secure. Attackers may be able to see the images you are looking at on this site and trick you by modifying them."

The message also shows that the Certificate is valid.

The FR donation page is secure - it clearly shows the padlock icon.

Also, there are other pages - like the page I am writing this Comment on right now - that also show the padlock icon.

I use McAfee Security software, Windows 10 (Home Version), and the Microsoft Edge browser.

I do not know which one of those three software packages posts the "Not secure" warning.
